75th Anniversary Celebration

In 2002 Saint Ann's Church will celebrate it's 75th Anniversary

For  the 75th Anniversary of the Saint Ann Church and School, a web page has been established and hosted at Http://www.stann.faithweb.com.   This page has been published to share information regarding the 75th Anniversary, and other Church functions and events.

The 75th Anniversary Jubilee Year is fast approaching! Below is a report from the Jubilee Committee, a summary of the planning up to now.

 

Six principal expressions of our pleasure in being parishioners or clergy of the Shrine Church of Saint Ann ....

  • Refurbishing the church with the $150,000 realized in a two-year drive.
  • Publishing for the first time a Parish History with space available in the book for personal messages and remembrances.
  • A Pontifical Mass at 4:00 PM on the Feast of Saint Ann, July, 2002.
  • A banquet from 7:00 P.M. to 12:00 Midnight the same evening at the Villa Barone in the East Bronx that will cost $75.00 a plate.
  • A pilgrimage to Montreal, Quebec City and the Shrine of Saint Ann de Beaupre, August 25th to 30th, 2002, which will cost $559.
  • A Mass of Thanksgiving in Spanish commemorating the Tenth Anniversary of the outreach to the Hispanic Community of St. Ann followed by an all-afternoon party in the cafeteria on October 13, 2002. Mass time is 1:15 P.M.
